How to earn through Blogging?

July 3, 2009

Follow the following steps as how to earn through blogging and get some extra cash. By this statement we do not quite say that you would become a millionaire overnight but then you will surely earn some extra money if you follow these steps religiously. That is something we guarantee you that. Also earning through blogging is quite time consuming, and it is not necessary that you will start earning as soon as you register with a blog site. It takes some time, usually one year, which may in many cases be extended to 2 years. So if you already have a blog and were unaware of the fact that you could very well be earning by blogging, this is for you too. So, let the games begin?

Step 1

Yes, believe it, its possible to earn through blogs. All you have to do it get register yourself on any of these websites, namely , WordPress, Blogger, Twitter , Facebook etc. Basically to start with all you need is a blog, be it any blogging site. The above mentioned websites offer free blogging services so you do not have to pay a penny. Done that? Okay go on read ahead.

Step 2
Now that you have created a blog, get to writing. Take this as a suggestion, write your blog daily, and use only original content.

Step 3
The step number three might be lucky for you if you are in any some other country than India or China. As soon as you write something down you can set up an account with, Google AdSense and register your blog with your Google AdSense account. While you are at this, it might take some time; usually it takes 1-2 days. When you register with Google AdSense and you link your blog, you should make sure whatever you have written on your blog is original and has not been copy pasted from anywhere. If you do that, Google spiders or bots (automated programs) will scan through your blog, and you would be reported spam. So no earning money that way! Be original and make sure others too, do not copy off your blog. If you are in India or China , you unfortunately would have to wait for 6 months according to the Google AdSense Policy. They report that they monitor blogs over a period of 6 months, and only then can people of India or China register to earn through Google AdSense.

Step 4
If Google AdSense approves your blog, consider yourself lucky. Now go to your blog and you will find advertisements that Google automatically places on your blog. Usually these advertisements are related to the content on your blog. For example, if you are a tennis fanatic and you write on your blog about Tennis equipments, then Google AdSense would place ads related to Tennis Equipments. Google is smart; do not we all know that? These advertisements are your source of income. Whenever anybody clicks on those ads, you will get paid a specific amount, which will get collected in your account. As soon as the amount reaches a limit for say $500 dollars (this is just an example) it would be sent to the mailing address you had provided at the time of registration with Google AdSense.

GoogleAdSense Logo.

GoogleAdSense Logo.

Step 5
Make sure that you do not click the advertisements on your blog yourself. Google is smart, remember? They keep tracing IP addresses of whoever clicks on the advertisements. So if they find you “cheating”, your account will be blocked. Another trick which the so called smart people use is asking their friends to click these advertisements or click advertisements on blogs from different computers. Google AdSense is constantly keeping all this under control and, they usually block those IP addresses if more than 4-5 clicks are found from the same IP address.

We hope you earn by following these steps. Also keep these points in your head while blogging:-
•    Write on current or the most happening events, so that more people come to your blog
•    Do not click the advertisements yourself
•    And the day when you get your first check from Google Inc. do not forget to thank us

Mozilla Firefox 3.5

July 1, 2009

Hope you are viewing this in a Mozilla Firefox browser and if you are not you have to update to the Firefox 3.5 browser. The wait is over; Mozilla has finally launched the much awaited Firefox 3.5 browser. Firefox is the world’s most favourite browser. The best part is that Firefox is free to use like all other browsers but it is also the most widely used open-source browser.

What is an open-source browser?

Open source program is a software program that is distributed freely and can be modified as per the user wants it to be. So what the Mozilla Firefox Company does is, distributes the source code of the Firefox browser to the public and people make slight changes to it , making the browser even better. This is one quality, which I really appreciated amongst the open source programs.
If you are using any other internet browser to surf the internet, you will regret not using the Firefox 3.5. If you are already using a previous version of Mozilla Firefox browser, then also you can consider updating the software to this latest version. The Mozilla Firefox 3.5 is the fastest browser in the world according to many experts and research websites.
This version of Mozilla Firefox has come out with several features that will definitely change your browsing experience. If you need to know why you need to update to this browser, the following is what you need to know.

Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Logo.

Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Logo.

Why should I use Firefox 3.5?

1.    Reopen Closed Window – You always wanted this feature, didn’t you?  What Firefox 3.5 does is it can undo the closed window command. After you have just crossed out the tab, and realized that you wanted that window to be open, with Firefox 3.5 you can always reopen that. All you have to do is press Ctrl+Shift+T. Another included sub feature being able to preserve the text written when the window was closed. For say you were typing an email and accidently closed the window , usually you would have to type it all over again , (unless of course it had been saved in the drafts) but with Firefox 3.5 , even the text is resurrected. Cool?

2.    Play with Tabs- Apple Safari and Google Chrome had integrated this feature long before Firefox did. But with Firefox 3.5 you can easily drag any tab out of the window, put it back in. You can also right click and do that.

3.    Keyword Filter – The Firefox 3’s had the AwesomeBar (address bar) which offered a speed list of suggestions to complete what you were typing usually from your page history, bookmarks and tags. But what if you do not want so much of clutter? With Firefox 3.5 you can filter out any search you want. Type, “Microsoft*” for any of your bookmarks related to Microsoft or the word.

4.    Session Restore – Firefox developers took the session restore feature earlier and modified it to be a crash recovery tool, so now you can select which tabs you want to come back just in case you think of these websites made your browser crash. At the time you want to recover, the browser flashes the one which made Firefox crash. Simple?

5.    Private Browsing Mode- Google Chrome calls it the Incognito browsing, Internet Explorer 8 calls it the InPrivate Browsing but Firefox 3.5 chose to call simply the Private Browsing Mode. This not just for frantic “porn mode” users but also for making the browsing safer and secure. By Private Mode you can anonymize your searches and pay bills, and do sensitive research more securely.

6.    TraceMonkey JavaScript Engine- Several months ago when Firefox 3 was running on the SpiderMonkey engine, Mozilla was developing a new JavaScript engine which it mentioned being 50% faster than the earlier engine. The engine is called the TraceMonkey and is not out and is 200% faster than the SpiderMonkey JavaScript Engine.

The Mozilla Firefox 3.5 has given surfing the internet a new meaning. People and fans are still wondering how the next version is going to be? Will it deliver an email before you even begin to type it?

Internet marketing cyle , as to how internet marketing works.

Internet marketing cycle , as to how internet marketing works.

1.    Publishing – Publishing is nothing but putting up advertisements online which may include banners and brochures

2.    E-Commerce – E-commerce is also a part of internet marketing wherein the products are sold directly to its customers. The transaction could B2C(here the goods are sold directly to the end user) or B2B( where in the goods are sold to other businesses)

3.    Lead Bases websites – These are websites used to market the product or service which has already been out in the market. This is usually done to increase the sales of the product or service by making the customer a little more aware.

ADVANTAGES OF INTERNET MARKETING

One on one – Since the targeted user is always browsing the internet alone, the marketing message reaches or affects the end user more personally. This approach is also used in search marketing. So when a user types t-shirts (keyword), the search results would display advertisements related to t-shirts.

Specific Target – While marketing over the internet one has the advantage of directing a product or services to reach a specific user group or a target audience. For example, if a new ‘Counter Strike’ video game is to be launched, the company would market it on gaming websites, fan websites and other websites usually which the potential customers visit the most. Also the company may choose to advertise on other Role-Playing Game (RPG) or First –Person Shooting (FPS) websites too.

Geo targeting- Geo targeting in terms of internet marketing is when a website is customized by using geolocation software to provide different content or different types of websites according to the location of the target audience. This is done by monitoring the IP (Internet Protocol) address or ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) location. Global Reach– With internet marketing a company can not just reach its specified target audience but also has the power to reach a global audience.

Inbuilt Research – While marketing over the internet, the market research cost is also saved as feedback is collected automatically.
There are only a few limitations of Internet marketing. Low-speed internet is one of them. Also another aspect is the products are intangible over the internet so the customer can not see, touch or smell them.

Here the idea is conveyed entirely through images. Images serve as a powerful tool of communication and can communicate ideas in a compelling manner. The image based designing can consist of photographs, painting, drawing or sketches or graphically rendered images.

Type Based Design
In type based designing the graphic designers use words to convery their idea or message across. Usually copywriters or just writers write the message for them. What the graphic designer does is, to organize the text in the most attractive fashion or manner. It is done in such a manner so as to attract the attention of the viewer immediately. The designers choose the text size , style and colors etc.
Image and Type Based Design
This is a combination of both image and type based designers. There is a relevant image along with the text which together convey the idea, usually more precisely than the basic image and type designing. Usually the image is used to attract the attention first and then the text is used very creatively to convey the main message across.
Symbols and Logos
Symbols and logos are usually designed to identify or create an identity for a particular brand or idea. For example an apple logo denotes the Apple Corporation, M signifies McDonalds etc. While designing logos a graphic designer usually refers to the company vision or company’s products or ideas so that the logo delivers the message across efficiently and effectively.

So in conclusion Graphic Designing is a creative approach to put forward one’s idea or view to the rest of the world or a particularly chosen audience. Anybody with a flair for art, is good with computers can be a master at graphic designing. Graphic designing could also be a great career for creative minds as all it involves is putting forward of an idea in the most out of the box manner.

Inventive Devices and Design

May 11, 2009

It was stated by Steve Jobs once that the “design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” Even though this statement is justified, it shouldn’t be misinterpreted by laying emphasis on the functionality in spite of its design. As a matter of fact, when it is about a specific design, the importance of the aesthetics of a device, the way its design feels and looks, establishes the customer’s choice while the functionalities and features of the device are more or less the same. If it is tested well, and supported by a sound user, and has a clean and hassle free implementation, innovative solutions for design can tremendously change the user experience for good.
Take a look at some creatively invented futuristic gadgets, designs, devices and concepts. Until plainly mentioned, not even a single of these mind juggling concepts is lately being designed. None of them is available for end-users which is why neither the price nor links to the stores are mentioned.

Apple Remote Control from Sony

Apparently, there is a place for innovation when it comes to design of devices. This Sony’s”apple” makes the users to achieve basic functions like changing volume, channels, etc with plain gestures for motion. The remote control is being charged once “apples” are placed on the bowl.

Optimus Tactus & Optimus Maximus
An unusual approach for a traditional input device is being offered by Optimus Keyboards of Artemy Lebedev. A small Organic display key is inserted underneath every key and is termed as OLED-display (Organic Display). It is meant to allow users to trace the displayed characters and the functionality of the keys manually. In short the tracing of keyboard labels can be done very easily with Optimus and can be varied at any point of time.
Optimus Tactus is designed in such a way that physical keys are not absent, that plainly explains that there are no limits to the innovative shapes and size. Any part of the surface of the keyboard can be programmed for performing any function or displaying any images.
123

Every key out of the set of 113 keys is a stand-alone display that demonstrates the function assigned to it.
Layout of Optimus permits an easy use of various languages — Ancient Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Georgian, hiragana, etc. – as well as of any character sets: numerals, notes, special symbols, math functions, HTML codes, and so on to infinity.

Toast Messenger
